Lymphedema is a chronic disease that is recognized through disfiguring swelling in one or more parts of the body. Lymphoedema Awareness Week seeks to educate the British public and support caregivers of those suffering from lymphatic diseases, primary and secondary lymphedema, lipedema, lymphatic filariasis, lymphatic malformations and the full lymphatic continuum of diseases impacted by the lymphatic system.
