DESCRIPTION:
The Zulu Lundi Gras Festival is a New Orleans Tradition that began in 1993 as a celebration of the African American community’s contribution to the local culture. It’s billed as “the greatest free show on earth,” with music, food, parades, and an appearance by King and Queen Zulu. The event is held annually on the Monday before Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) in Woldenberg Park on the river in New Orleans, Louisiana.
