World Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease or COPD Awareness Month is an awareness campaign seeking to educate the public about the disease and how to improve the lives of those with it.
Each year has its unique focus, with participating in events involving health care organizations, government agencies, and educators.
Free pulmonary check-ups may be available in your hometown. Check with your local healthcare provider for listings.
