DESCRIPTION:
To publicly shine a light on “unmentionables,” Freshpair founded National Underwear Day on August 5th, 2003. Since, New York City has celebrated this event annually with massive underwear giveaways, a pop-up shop in Columbus Circle, and runway shows.
Even major brands, including Papi, Diesel, Wacoal, and Tommy Hilfiger, have gotten onboard. Each year thousands of new, clean skivvies are donated to the homeless through the efforts of Fresh Pair and National Underwear Day.
