DESCRIPTION:
World Day Against Child Labor Day is sponsored by the International Program on the Elimination of Child Labour (IPEC). This day seeks to raise awareness on the issue of child labor across the world. Each year focuses on a different theme. In 2015, education as a means to stop child labor is the topic of concentration.
IPEC is under the International Labour Organization(ILO) wing. This organization was created in 1992 with the main goal of eliminating child labor by providing means to countries to strengthen their efforts to combat child labor as well as promote a global awareness on child labor. IPEC is the largest operation program of the International Labor Organization.
