ASK Day is about gun safety. It is a day to remind parents, caretakers, and teens to ask, "Is there an unlocked gun in your house?"
Safe storage of guns saves lives. Each day in the United States, an average of eight children are injured or killed by an unsecured firearm.
4.6 million children live in homes with unlocked and loaded guns.
20% of children have handled a gun without adult supervision.
ASK Day is a safety campaign and awareness campaign. Ask if a home has an unsecured gun. This one conversation may save a life!
