It is just weeks until the annual Academy Awards are given out for the previous year's best films, actors, and behind-the-scenes people. However, it is only exciting if you have skin in the game and have seen the movies. To this end, in 2020, the governing body of the Academy Awards created Global Movie Day. It's your opportunity to kick back, catch up on this year's nominees and pick your favorites. It's also a rare opportunity to engage with Academy members and filmmakers across social media. Use the hashtag #GlobalMovieDay to find them and participate in Global Movie Day.
