DESCRIPTION:
Día de la Constitución (Constitution Day) is a national holiday celebrating the signing of the Mexican Constitution on February 5, 1917, following the Mexican Revolution of 1910. The holiday occurs on the first Monday in February. Venustiano Carranza was Mexico’s first President.
As in the United States for the Fourth of July, Día de la Constitución is a day of parades, festivals, and celebrations in Mexico. Read the complete Mexican Constitution here:
