Supporters of the pro-life, anti-abortion, and forced birth movements pass out cupcakes on this day as a form of advocacy, handing out information and fundraising via cupcakes.
Cupcakes remain a symbol of life's joy and pleasures, and they are miniaturized versions of the birthday cakes that mark each year of life.
